Not so long ago, back at CES 2019, Dell announced the update of XPS 13 with an improved webcam and are getting to do the same with upcoming XPS 15 and XPS 13 2-in-1 models. The innovative HD webcam is located on the top of the InfinityEdge display, and XPS proudly presents the next generation Dell Cinema. Dell also has overhauled the device with Intel’s long-awaited 10th Gen Ice Lake processors, a new display, and an updated keyboard.

With its finally-improved webcam and longer battery life, the Dell XPS 13 ranks in the top of the best laptops of 2019. You are getting an 8th-generation Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of 2,133MHz DDR3 memory and a 128GB PCIe SSD beneath a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) InfinityEdge display.

Dell can truly be happy with its new 2.25 mm webcam, two years in the making, which is not only small enough to fit above the display, but uses a 720p widescreen sensor paired with four far-field microphones for activating Cortana or Alexa from a distance. The laptop is just as thin and light as last year at 0.46 inches (11.6 mm) and 2.7 pounds (1.23 kg). The XPS 13 also remains with the same anodized aluminum screen lid and base, coupled with woven carbon fiber (or glass fiber on light colored models) keyboard deck.

The XPS 13 is available in three colors: silver-on-black, rose gold-on-white and a brand-new frost-on-white scheme.
