The time of round bathroom sinks is gone. Make a way for washbasins with sharp corners, like Cara from Japanese Sanwa Company. Awarded with Red Dot Design 2018, this washbasin starts to travel around the world and become noticed by designers as well as consumers. It is reduced to the essentials and captivates with extraordinary materiality that breaks with conventions to set its own accents in the bathroom.

Made of thin stainless steel plates in matt black or white, Cara represents something brand new in bathroom materials. Cara is made with a Japanese sheet metal and welding technique. This dispenses with high-temperature firing, unlike with ceramic washbasins, and contributes to a CO2 emissions reduction effect. An open shelf provides storage for towels and accessories.

This is a future design for our bathroom sinks.
